Luke Kennedy
Luke Kennedy is a partner with McMickle, Kurey & Branch, LLP and has worked at the firm since 2021. He devotes his practice to civil litigation, including commercial motor carrier defense, premises liability, auto and personal injury defense, and representing insurers in coverage matters. Luke has successfully tried multiple truck wreck cases to defense verdicts in his time at MKB.
Luke received his J.D., cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School in 2018. Luke received his B.A. from Samford University in 2015.
Prior to joining McMickle, Kurey, & Branch, Luke worked for an Atlanta firm representing shareholders of publicly traded companies in federal securities fraud class action litigation as well as shareholder derivative suits. He played an important role in numerous cases which helped shareholders recover tens of millions of dollars, and also helped design comprehensive corporate governance reforms on behalf of shareholders that have been successfully implemented by public companies.
While originally from Indiana, Luke has lived in the Atlanta area since 2018. He now lives in Alpharetta with his wife Charlotte. Luke enjoys spending time with friends and family in his free time, trying local restaurants and coffee shops, and is an avid sports fan. Luke and Charlotte are members of Perimeter Church.
