Coleman Sylvan

Coleman Sylvan is a partner with McMickle, Kurey & Branch, LLP. He focuses his practice on civil & business litigation, transportation law, and insurance coverage disputes.

Coleman was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended Furman University where he received a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2001. He received his JD from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law in 2005. Coleman began his legal career in Texas as an Assistant District Attorney with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office. He gained valuable trial experience handling more than 100 jury trials prosecuting cases ranging from misdemeanor drug possession to capital murder. After six years. Coleman left the DA’s office and opened a firm practicing criminal defense in State and Federal Courts in Texas.

Coleman moved to Georgia in 2015 where he continued to practice criminal law for several years, before joining a respected insurance defense firm in Atlanta, handling auto and premises liability cases.

Coleman resides in Roswell, Georgia with his wife Brandy their three sons and one daughter. He enjoys playing golf, reading and traveling.
