Alexander Essex
Alexander Essex is an associate with McMickle Kurey & Branch, LLP. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, including premises liability, negligent security, commercial motor carrier defense, auto and personal injury defense. Alex also represents clients in the areas of sports and entertainment law and in commercial business disputes.
Alex earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, where he was a four-year varsity letterman on the football team. Alex earned his Juris Doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law, where he was involved in the Oglethorpe Society, the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and was the Attorney’s Guaranty Scholarship Award Recipient.
Prior to joining McMickle, Kurey, & Branch, Alex worked for a respected insurance defense firm in Atlanta practicing in the same areas of law and serving as a mentor to the firm’s junior associates.
Alex is contributing member of the Georgia Bar Association, an active member in the community, and is a licensed sports agent, representing multiple active players in the National Football League.
