Morgan Carroll
Morgan Carroll is a partner with McMickle, Kurey & Branch, LLP. Morgan graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Risk Management and Insurance. She received her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in 2008. She also holds Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations.
Morgan has specialized in insurance litigation for over ten years. She began practicing at Cozen O’Connor in 2010, and moved to McMickle, Kurey and Branch in 2017. Prior to that, Morgan gained valuable experience in-house at a large Excess and Surplus Lines insurance company, as an insurance professional.
Morgan focuses her practice on representing insurance companies in coverage litigation and defending insureds and corporations in a wide range of matters.
Morgan has successfully represented insurers in all phases of litigation, addressing issues arising from a variety of coverage areas and coverage forms, including commercial general liability, commercial auto, umbrella, excess, professional liability and commercial property. She regularly opines on issues related to claims handling and bad faith. Morgan has also conducted large-scale coverage form reviews for insurers, which included drafting and revising manuscript coverage forms to reflect underwriter intent.
On the civil defense side, Morgan represents insurers and corporations against claims involving premises liability, products liability, personal injury, automobile liability, property damage, toxic exposure, and professional liability.
Morgan is a Georgia native, originally from Flowery Branch. She resides in Alpharetta, Georgia with her husband, Mark, and their three children.
